From a cherry blossom canopy in Vancouver’s Stanley Park to the windy Prospect Point, followed by a sunny Third Beach, ending the day in a gritty back alley of Gastown. What a day!

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure to photograph our first pre-wedding shoot with the fabulous Joy and Alex. Together with Formosa Bridal‘s Chunyen we’re starting pre-wedding shoots in Vancouver.

If you’re new to concept, so were we until recently. In the Asian culture, couples frequently opt for a full day experience instead of an engagement shoot. The bride gets to wear different dresses (usually rented) and has a variety of hair and make-up styles applied throughout the day. Chunyen has extensive experience providing hair- and makeup services as well as dress rentals in Taiwan! She created the gorgeous looks of Joy during our shoot.
